A really bad movie!!

I really had the hope about this movie but at the end..., it just got me really angry, aarrgggh!!

This story starts by showing the young planet earth being visited by a "superior" race of silicone-rubber-like aliens. These aliens sent one of their kind to sacrifice himself, by drinking some kind of biological, magical black fluid that absorbs, degrades into bits and then reprogram life, so this liquid at the end just allows for the creation of new life forms. The alien guy killed himself to populate the earth with whatever occurred to the nature. The alien ship just disappeared right after, leaving the living cocktail mixing itself at its will!

Many, many million years after, humans come into scene and at about the end of the 21 century, some young scientists discovered in a cave, something that they believed as an invitation to go somewhere!! I don't know at this point whether the tribe that wrote those inscriptions on stone, were concerned to invite the forthcoming curious people to go to the other side of the galaxy!! Well, that was the brilliant conclusion of Dr Elizabeth Shaw. The brilliant doctor Shaw held the hand of her love and suddenly thought of meeting their makers...., they called them the "Engineers"!! I believe this is really offensive against the community of engineers (i'm one)!!

I guess they convinced Mr Weyland to go to the other side of the galaxy to meet the creators that brought life to the earth millions years ago. Well, Mr Weyland liked the crazy story and pulled out from his pocket a bunch of bills, about 3 billion dollars to build the Prometheus Vessel and hired also a bunch of fearless crazy people. Mr Weyland was really kind with Dr Shaw and maybe thought of how to convince those "engineers" to receive the gift of being "re-engineered" himself with immortality!

They traveled into space to the unknown for about 2 to 3 years in "hypersleep" being cared by a weird android made of synthetic flesh. After that long trip, when they arrived to the unknown coordinates in the far space, they woke up to know at that very moment what the mission was (aaarrgggghh!!!).

These two young scientists shared their discoveries with the crew and said that they've traveled many light years because they've got the feeling that those tribes wrote an invitation on the ancient stone!! By now I remember that Dr Shaw concluded about those "engineers" just by the similarities on the pictograph found in the caves (aaarrgggghh!!!) Maybe Mr Scott helped her.

As always, some of the cowboys were tough guys that make no friends and that just wanted to receive their money even if there wasn't any Walmart the other side of the galaxy to buy a single snack!!

Charlize Theron was the tough girl and was in charge of the mission by remembering even to the android that if she wanted it, she could swallow them all at once!

The vessel approached the planet and all the maneuvers were by hand!! "Prepare for landing", pushed a lot of buttons, turned many knobs and lights (remember, they were in 2093, sound like the terminator's paradox) The captain standing up, barely held himself for the landing!! The young and fearless scientist disobeys, takes off his seat belt and warns about a pattern that in his own words, isn't god's way to make thinks but maybe for an intelligent life form!!

The Prometheus vessel barely lands and everyone just make a deep breath because of the dangerous maneuver made by hand!! The young scientist says that he wants his Christmas presents right away and no one has a single bit of common sense to take precautions!! Until now, the whole movie is a bad joke but the following makes me really angry!! The whole crew become brainless and stupid!! Here is...

1) There are no drones or robots to check first whether it is safe for humans or by the other hand, they need to evacuate quickly because something frightening could be found!!

2) The really brilliant Dr Shaw noticed that one of the cowboys had a flamethrower and remembered him that the mission was scientific not military!! In the infinite possibilities that the quantum physics draws, she never thought of the possibility of hostile life forms!! Do all of the nowadays young scientists think like she did in the movie??

3) Dr Holloway offended the android when he said to him that why he pretended to behave like a human if he wasn't. This was when David attempted to put his helmet to go with them and David remembered him that he don't need to breath but he just act as humans programmed him, so maybe they feel more comfortable.

3) They entered the strange cave and one of the tough guys released some kind of drone-balls that started to map the interior of the whole structure through 3D laser scanning! If that technology would exist at that time, I guess the guy should have something to monitor and control the drone-balls, not just releasing them at their will!! I imagine some kind of hi tech flat (maybe flexible) display to see what the drone balls are mapping and watching online, so this guy would be the "Mapping Master", so he'd always know his location within the structure!!

4) The young and ..., at this point I want to say, asshole Dr Holloway takes off his helmet because of the sensor readings said that the air within the cave was breathable!! Not even a pathogenic analysis, neither other extra safety measures were taken, and all of them follow the stupid, asshole, mad scientist by taking off all of their helmets!!

5) They made a really scary discovery, they found a weird giant body, headless, close to a giant door!! Two "intelligent" (I'll tell you later why the guys were just "intelligent") guys felt really scared and decided to leave and go back to the ship by following the pieces of bread they dropped..., the pure Hansel and Gretel style!! The others said nothing and just kept going!!

6) Sadly, the "intelligent" guys with the most advanced and cool technology shown the whole movie, could not communicate with the drone-balls they released when entered the cave, and that maybe already mapped a huge part of the interior of the cave. Those drone-balls know exactly the way out and back to the ship. Unfortunately for the guys, the drone-balls became free after released, and they weren't compelled to obey!! If the drone-balls liked, they could just attack the humans to stay in that planet and live forever as master balls ;)

7) At that point I didn't know whether they remembered that they were in an unknown planet far far away from earth, attending just the feeling of a young scientist!! The group of  stupid scientists took the alien head but the mad android noticed that the black organic fluid was really interesting and plenty of life!! He took one tube of fluid with him and they found their way out really, really easy and quickly because a storm approached!! (The drone guys remained lost)

At this point the whole movie was really comic and stupid at the same time!! At the end, everyone got killed, Mr Weyland was hidden in the vessel without any reason, they woke up one of the "engineers" that resulted to be really wild guys, knocking off the remaining of the crew Mr Weyland and David included!! The Prometheus is requested to destroy the alien vessel that planned to go back to the earth maybe to destroy all the humanity!! The crap Prometheus wasn't able to throw even a small stone, then they decided to crash the both spaceships!! The Prometheus is blown into bits and the alien spaceship falls without control, rolling toward Dr Shaw and Miss(Mrs?) Vickers!! They decided to run to the same direction the alien vessel was rolling to!! Vickers is smashed by the spaceship and Dr Shaw falls and then rolls aside to be herself momentarily saved!

At the end, Dr Shaw took the remaining of David and both left the planet in another alien vessel and planned to go to the planet of the "engineers". I guess they both died horribly because she never learned, she never understood that those beings that she called "engineers" were terribly hostile!!

I hope Mr Scott does realize that aliens should remain at LV-223 and that they won't come back again!!! End of crap story!!
